World Creole Music Festival in Windsor Park Sports Stadium/Roseau
World Creole Music Festival has run since 1997 during Dominica's October Creole heritage month, staged over three nights at Windsor Park Stadium in Roseau. Known as the Festival That Never Sleeps for its performances running until morning, it draws Creole-music acts from the Caribbean, French Antilles, Africa and North America to a stadium that now holds up to twelve thousand.
World Creole Music Festival began in 1997, launched during Dominica's Creole heritage month of October with the specific aim of boosting visitor numbers in the weeks leading up to the island's Independence celebrations on November 3.
