Intsikurmu Festival in Polva
Intsikurmu Festival grew out of Polva's earlier Uue Ajastu Festival, relaunching under its current name in August 2013 in Intsikurmu Forest Park. The wooded valley setting doubles as a natural amphitheatre, hosting a mix of touring international indie and electronic acts alongside established Estonian musicians across a single day and evening each summer.
Intsikurmu Festival grew directly out of an earlier event called Uue Ajastu Festival, which ran in Polva from 2010 to 2012 before organisers relaunched it under the Intsikurmu name for its first edition in August 2013.
