Kuopiorock in Kuopio

Kuopiorock, first held in 2003 at Vainolanniemi peninsula park in Kuopio, is the largest rock festival in the Savonia region of eastern Finland. Since expanding in 2007 to include lakeside Vainolanniemi beach and a fourth stage at the nearby Peraniemi casino, it has drawn both Finnish and international rock acts to a multi-stage lakeshore setting each turn of July into August.

Kuopiorock staged its first edition in 2003 at Vainolanniemi, a peninsula park in Kuopio, establishing what has grown into the largest rock festival and celebration in the entire Savonia region of eastern Finland.
