Feria d'Arles in Arles
Arles's Pentecost feria fills the city's Roman amphitheatre with bullfights and courses camarguaises while walking brass bands lead crowds between bars and squares outside. Rooted in the city's long bullfighting tradition, it pairs the ticketed spectacle inside the arena with a free, informal street party of music, rose and Camargue food across the old town.
Arles closes central streets each Pentecost weekend for a five-day feria built around bullfighting, courses camarguaises and the brass bands that march through the old town between events.
