Feria de Nimes

Feria de Nimes, dating to 1952, is a traditional bullfighting and feria festival held twice yearly, around Pentecost in late May or June and again for three days in September, centered on the Arenes de Nimes Roman amphitheatre. Distinct from the separately organized summer concert series Festival de Nimes at the same venue, the feria combines corridas, novilladas and Camargue-style bull sports with street bull-running and continuous public celebration throughout Nimes.
