Svanetoba in Mestia/Svaneti

Falling July 29, the day after Kvirikoba, Svanetoba brings villages from across the Svaneti highlands into Mestia, each setting up its own labeled table of local food, drink and handicrafts. Concerts, folk craft exhibitions and folklore performances run against a backdrop of medieval stone towers, making the day one of Svaneti's two most important cultural dates.
