Southside Festival in Neuhausen ob Eck
Southside Festival began in 1999 as the southern German twin of Hurricane, moving in 2000 to its permanent home at the Neuhausen ob Eck airfield near Lake Constance. It runs on the same three June days as Hurricane with a largely shared lineup, drawing around sixty thousand visitors to a flat, open airfield site in the Swabian Alb region.
Southside Festival launched in 1999 as the southern German counterpart to Hurricane, holding its first edition at a former military airfield in Neubiberg near Munich with about fifteen thousand visitors before relocating in 2000 to its current, permanent site at the Neuhausen ob Eck airfield near Lake Constance.
