Ghana Garden and Flower Show in Accra
Founded in 2013 by Esther Cobbah's Stratcomm Africa, the Ghana Garden and Flower Show has grown from fourteen exhibitors to well over a hundred, now running across more than a week at Accra's Efua Sutherland Children's Park. Each edition carries a theme tied to urban greening and horticulture as a livelihood, not just decoration. It suits visitors interested in landscaping, plant nurseries and Ghana's push toward greener cities.
Esther Cobbah, founder of the communications firm Stratcomm Africa, launched the Ghana Garden and Flower Show in August 2013 with fourteen exhibitors and about fourteen hundred visitors, a modest start for what has become one of the country's more closely watched seasonal events.
