Zagori Mountain Running in Zagori

A mountain trail race through Epirus's Zagori region since 2011, based in the village of Tsepelovo each July, offering five distances from a 10-kilometer Forest race up to the flagship 60 and 80-kilometer TeRA ultras through the Vikos-Aoos UNESCO Global Geopark and its dramatic gorge terrain.

Zagori, a mountainous stretch of Epirus near Ioannina in Greece's northwest, is built around the Vikos Gorge, a canyon carved by the Voidomatis River that anchors the Vikos-Aoos National Park, recognized as a UNESCO Global Geopark since October 2010.
