Arctic Sounds Festival in Sisimiut
Greenland's largest volunteer-run music festival, established in 2014 and held each April in Sisimiut, bringing together Nordic and Inuit Nunaat musicians across genres from rock and rap to traditional drum singing over five days, paired with dogsledding, skiing, and snowmobiling excursions for visiting festival guests.
Arctic Sounds gathers musicians from across the Nordic countries and Inuit Nunaat, the pan-Arctic term covering Nunavut, Nunavik, Nunatsiavut, and NunatuKavut, into Sisimiut each April, running as one of Greenland's largest music festivals since it was established in 2014.
