Inalahan Gupot Chamorro in Inarajan
Named for Chief Gadao, a legendary figure from Chamorro oral tradition tied to the village, the Inalahan Gadao Festival brings Chamorro song, dance, and cultural exhibits to the southeastern coastal village, filling a gap left by Inalahan's previously sole reliance on its religious patron fiesta.
Inalahan was for years the one Guam village without its own secular cultural festival, relying solely on its Catholic patron fiesta, until residents built a new event named for Chief Gadao, the legendary leader associated with the village.
