Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival in Port-au-Prince
PAPJAZZ, the Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival, has run every January since 2007, organized by the Fondation Culturelle Haitiano-Idaho and drawing roughly a hundred musicians from Haiti and abroad each year. Most concerts are free to the public, held across multiple Port-au-Prince venues including hotel convention spaces in Petion-Ville.
The Port-au-Prince International Jazz Festival, commonly known as PAPJAZZ, has run every January since its founding in 2007, organized by the Fondation Culturelle Haitiano-Idaho as a nonprofit event that brings together roughly a hundred musicians from Haiti and abroad each year, drawing performers from countries including the United States, France, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Spain, and across Africa and the Caribbean.
