Budapest100 in Budapest
Budapest100 opens private and institutional buildings across the city for one free weekend each year, born from a single 2011 building centenary and now spotlighting rolling themes like specific streets, districts, or architectural movements. Many participating residents research their own building's history specifically for the occasion, giving tours a genuinely personal quality.
The Goldberger House, home to the Blinken OSA Archivum, turned a hundred years old in 2011, and that single building anniversary sparked an idea from OSA Archivum and the Contemporary Architecture Centre, known as KEK: gather every Budapest building turning a hundred that year and celebrate them together over one weekend.
