Sunburn Goa in Goa

Sunburn is India's largest electronic dance music festival, founded by Shailendra Singh in 2007 on Goa's Candolim and Vagator beaches. Built around touring international DJs, it has since moved between Goa and Pune in different years as beachfront venues ran into licensing and environmental constraints, growing into a multi-stage production with pyrotechnics and a year-round tour brand.

Talent manager Shailendra Singh launched Sunburn as India's first large-scale electronic dance festival in December 2007, staging two days of sets on Candolim Beach before the event settled into Vagator, on Goa's north coast, for the next several editions.
