Pestapora in Jakarta

Founded in 2022 by Boss Creator, led by former Synchronize Fest programme director Rizky Aulia, Pestapora launched as a post-pandemic celebration of Indonesian music across every genre. Held each September over three days at venues including Gambir Expo and JIExpo in North Jakarta, it draws hundreds of musicians spanning pop, rock, jazz, indie, electronic, traditional, and hip-hop genres.

Boss Creator, an event company founded by Rizky Aulia, known as Kiki Ucup and formerly programme director for Synchronize Fest, launched Pestapora with its first edition running September 23 to 25, 2022, explicitly framed as a post-pandemic celebration of Indonesian music and a statement of support for local artists across every genre rather than a curated few.
