Fajr Music Festival in Tehran
Founded in 1986, Iran's national music festival runs each February in Tehran's Ten Days of Dawn, with six juried sections spanning Iranian classical, regional, choral, youth, fusion, and Western classical genres, concentrated mainly at the historic Vahdat Hall and drawing performers from Europe and across Asia.
Founded in 1986, Iran's national music festival has run for more than three decades inside the same Ten Days of Dawn window used by the country's theater and film festivals, the period marking the anniversary of the 1979 revolution.
