Halabja Pomegranate and Autumn Festival in Halabja
A three-day autumn harvest festival in Halabja centered on the province's renowned pomegranate crop, running from late October into early November since its founding in 2013. Farmers display named local varieties such as Salakhani and Sawa alongside walnuts, honey, and olive oil across hundreds of booths, drawing large crowds and significant seasonal revenue for the governorate.
Halabja's pomegranate orchards produce enough fruit each autumn to fill hundreds of vendor booths when the Halabja Pomegranate and Autumn Festival opens over a three-day run at the end of October and start of November.
