Dublin Horse Show in Dublin
A five-day international show jumping event at the RDS in Dublin, first held in 1868 by the Royal Dublin Society, anchored each August by the Aga Khan Trophy Nations Cup, donated in 1926 and originally contested among six founding nations including Ireland and Great Britain.
The Royal Dublin Society, itself founded in 1731, organized the first Dublin Horse Show in 1868 as a display of led-horse and leaping demonstrations, a format that has since evolved into a five-day international show jumping event held each August at the RDS grounds.
