A women-only ten-kilometer race through Dublin city centre each June bank holiday weekend, founded in 1983 by Frank Slevin and Frank Greally with nine thousand entrants, now the largest event of its kind in the world and a major fundraiser for participant-chosen charities, with more than 1.1 million cumulative entrants across the race's history since its 1983 founding by Frank Slevin.
