Manx Wildlife Trust Festival of the Sea in Port Erin
A summer weekend event in Port Erin where Manx Wildlife Trust fills a beachside marquee with tanks of live, locally collected marine creatures for close-up viewing, alongside hands-on activities explaining Manx marine conservation work, with every animal returned to the sea once the festival ends.
A marquee goes up opposite the old Marine Biological Station at the far end of Port Erin bay each summer for the Manx Wildlife Trust's Festival of the Sea, a weekend built around tanks of live marine animals gathered from the surrounding Irish Sea.
