Tamar Festival in Dead Sea/Masada

The Tamar Regional Council and Productions Forum created this Sukkot festival in 2000, naming it for the Hebrew word for date in honor of the region's date-harvest season. Concerts run from before sunrise to after sunset at an open-air arena built into the desert at the foot of Masada, overlooking the Dead Sea.
