Curtain Up Dance Festival in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem
Founded in 1989, Curtain Up is the Suzanne Dellal Centre's platform for commissioning new work from emerging Israeli choreographers, funding full productions including costumes, lighting and marketing rather than booking finished shows. Performances run in Tel Aviv and extend to other Israeli cities including Jerusalem, and its alumni include Barak Marshall, Inbal Pinto and Emanuel Gat.
