Jordan Amateur Theatre Festival in Royal Cultural Center/Amman
Jordan relaunched its Amateur Theatre Festival after a twelve-year suspension, in a joint initiative between the Ministry of Culture and the Arab Theatre Institute that sent sixteen directors to train participants and discover new talent across every governorate rather than concentrating solely on Amman. Performances have been staged at the Royal Cultural Center and Al Hussein Cultural Center, with participation extending to Arab amateur theatre companies from several regional countries.
