Kajiado Maasai Cultural Festival in Kajiado
Held in Amboseli at the Kimana Gate area of Kajiado County, this is the Kajiado edition of the broader rotating Maa Cultural and Tourism Festival, distinct from the separate Narok-hosted gathering at Sekenani. Programming features the Adumu jumping dance performed by Maasai and Samburu warriors, traditional music, beadwork and food, drawing more than twenty thousand visitors against the backdrop of Amboseli's elephants and Mount Kilimanjaro views.
The Kajiado Maasai Cultural Festival, staged as the Maa Cultural and Tourism Festival, is held in Amboseli, at the Kimana Gate area of Kajiado County, on community land that forms a critical transition zone between the Amboseli National Park conservation area and surrounding community conservancies.
