Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon in Nairobi
Kenya's largest single-day sporting event, held on the last Sunday of October since its 2003 debut with around four thousand runners, now drawing twenty to thirty thousand participants from across the world. Organized by Standard Chartered Bank with Athletics Kenya, it holds a World Athletics Road Race Label and functions as Kenya's flagship marathon, combining elite competition with mass participation and charity fundraising.
