Jounieh Women's Race Festival in Jounieh

The Women's Race in Jounieh, organized by the Beirut Marathon Association and its founder May el-Khalil, brings a multi-category running event to Jounieh Bay, including competitive five-kilometer women's and men's races, a parents-and-children race, a fun run, and a roller-skating event. Sponsored in recent editions by Spinneys, the race has been held in Jounieh only a small number of times.

The Women's Race in Jounieh is organized by the Beirut Marathon Association, the same organization behind Lebanon's main annual marathon since its founding in 2003, and functions as one stop in a broader women's race series presided over by BMA founder May el-Khalil that has expanded beyond Beirut to other Lebanese cities including Jounieh.
