Roof of Africa Hard Enduro in Maseru/Highlands

The Roof of Africa is the world's original hard enduro motorcycle race, launched in 1967 and staged annually near Maseru through the Maloti Mountains. Spanning three days and up to three hundred fifty kilometers at altitudes over three thousand meters, it has joined the Hard Enduro World Championship calendar as one of the sport's toughest and most storied events.

Known to competitors as the Mother of Hard Enduro, the Roof of Africa is the oldest hard enduro motorcycle race in the world, tracing its origins back to 1967 and running continuously in the Maloti Mountains surrounding Maseru ever since.
