International Cultural Festival of the Lorma People in Lofa County/Multi-county
The International Cultural Festival of the Lorma People is an annual celebration staged in Voinjama, Lofa County, under the Lorma-Gie-Tia organization founded in 2021. It brings together Lorma communities from both Liberia and Guinea for traditional dance, dress, craft and fishing demonstrations, framed explicitly around peace, unity and cultural preservation.
In Voinjama, the capital of Lofa County near Liberia's border with Guinea, the Lorma people hold an annual cultural festival organized under the banner of Lorma-Gie-Tia, a name meaning we the Lorma people.
