Nalut Spring Festival in Nalut
The Nalut Spring Festival is a three-day celebration held in late March in the Jebel Nafusa town of Nalut, honoring Amazigh culture through music, community gathering, and the traditional dish Shirshe, also known as Ftat. Free and open to the public, the festival draws foreign visitors who often combine it with onward travel toward Ghadames, the Acacus mountains, and Waw Namous.
Nalut sits in Libya's Jebel Nafusa, the Nafusa Mountain range that has long been home to some of the country's most significant Amazigh, or Berber, communities.
