African Days Vilnius in Vilnius

African Days is Lithuania's only Trans-Saharan African culture festival, held each May around African Liberation Day. Centered on live concerts, djembe drum and dance seminars, and educational programming about African countries, it is anchored by the African Drums percussion studio, which has taught djembe to hundreds of students over roughly fifteen years and hosts anniversary concerts within the wider festival.

African Days began more than a decade ago as Lithuania's only festival dedicated to Trans-Saharan African culture, and it has kept that distinction ever since, timed each spring to coincide with African Liberation Day on May 25.
