Vilnius Marathon in Vilnius

The Swedbank Vilnius Marathon is Lithuania's largest running event, held each September through the historic old town, along the Neris River, and through Vingis Park. It draws more than eleven thousand AIMS-certified runners from over fifty-five countries across marathon, half marathon, and shorter distances. Entertainment zones, live music, and food stalls line the course and finish area, turning the morning into a citywide event for spectators as much as a competitive race for participants.

Each September, the Swedbank Vilnius Marathon turns the Lithuanian capital's UNESCO-listed old town into a single-lap racecourse for the country's largest running event.
