Jazzorwhatever Festival in Wiltz
Jazzorwhatever!? is the only jazz festival in northern Luxembourg, held at the Brandbau and Prabbeli cultural centre in Wiltz. First staged April 5-6, 2024, it blends jazz with hip hop, punk rock, electronic, and classical elements under curator Marc Scheer, alongside co-curators John Wolter and Mateus Wojda. The festival returns for its third edition April 10-12, 2026.
Wiltz, a small town in northern Luxembourg better known for its open-air summer festival in the ruins of its castle, gained a very different kind of cultural fixture in April 2024 with the first edition of Jazzorwhatever!?, a festival whose name, punctuation included, signals exactly what it sets out to do: take jazz as a starting point and follow wherever the music leads, into hip hop, punk rock, electronic production, and classical composition.
