Nuit des Lampions in Wiltz

Nuit des Lampions is a biennial lantern festival in the Jardin de Wiltz, launched in 2007 during Luxembourg's year as European Capital of Culture. Giant illuminated lanterns, some shaped as dragons, fill the garden alongside theatre, dance, acrobatics, circus, fire and light shows, and food stalls, drawing more than 10,000 visitors in strong years.

Wiltz's public garden turns into a lantern-lit dreamscape every other year for the Nuit des Lampions, a festival born in 2007 when Luxembourg held the title of European Capital of Culture.
