Labuan Bird Park Festival in Labuan
The Labuan Bird Park Festival is a nature-focused event held at Labuan Bird Park, a 6.9-hectare sanctuary about 16 kilometres from Labuan's city centre near the Tanjung Kubong Tunnel, home to some 580 birds across three geodesic domes and surrounding rainforest. The 2026 edition is scheduled for August 15 and 16, giving visitors a concentrated program of bird-focused activities layered onto the park's usual live bird shows and close-up encounters with species including cockatoos, hornbills, kingfishers and peacocks.
Labuan, a federal territory island off the coast of Sabah, hosts one of Malaysia's more distinctive wildlife attractions in Labuan Bird Park, a 6.9-hectare sanctuary built around three geodesic domes and a stretch of surrounding rainforest near the island's Tanjung Kubong Tunnel landmark.
