Borneo Jazz Festival in Miri
Borneo Jazz Festival is an annual international jazz festival held in Miri, Sarawak, since 2006, making it one of the longest-running jazz festivals in Southeast Asia. Previously known as the Miri International Jazz Festival before a rebranding, the multi-day event features a mix of Malaysian and international performers spanning jazz, world music, and related genres, typically held between October and December.
Borneo Jazz Festival was established in 2006 in Miri, a coastal city in northern Sarawak better known internationally for its oil and gas industry than for its cultural festivals, and has since become one of the longest continuously running jazz festivals in Southeast Asia.
