The Malta International Fireworks Festival marked its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2026, opening in Nadur, Gozo, before moving to Valletta's Grand Harbour for two competition nights and a grand finale across dates in April. Around forty local and international fireworks teams take part, with eight competing in a pyro-musical competition synchronised to live music.
