Gustar Music Festival in Orheiul Vechi
Gustar Music Festival, launched in 2010 as the first Moldovan festival staged in the natural amphitheater of Orheiul Vechi near Furceni, bills itself as the country's biggest music festival. The 2026 edition runs August 18 through 20 along the Raut River, featuring Ukraine's Eurovision-winning Kalush Orchestra alongside Moldovan artists, craft workshops and panoramic campground accommodation.
In 2010, Orheiul Vechi was known primarily as a natural and archaeological reserve, its chalk cliffs and cave monasteries drawing hikers and history visitors rather than concertgoers.
