Dulce Floare de Salcam is an ethno-folkloric festival held each May in Valeni village, Cahul district, along the Prut River amid blooming acacia trees. Folklore collectives from Moldova and neighboring Romanian counties gather for a parade of traditional dress, a village hora circle dance, and a folk-music concert, valorizing spring-summer traditions.
