Monaco Dance Forum in Monte Carlo

Monaco Dance Forum is an international contemporary dance showcase created in 2000 by choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot, artistic director of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo. Since 2011 it has been integrated with the Ballets de Monte-Carlo and the Princess Grace Academy, presenting performances, workshops and masterclasses from touring international companies alongside Monaco's resident troupe.

In 2000, choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot set out to give Monaco a place on the map of international contemporary dance, not simply as a host city for touring shows but as an active participant.
