Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival in Monte Carlo
Under the high patronage of Prince Albert II, the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival has filled the Opera Garnier Monte-Carlo each November since 2006 with jazz and adjacent genres performed inside a nineteenth-century opera house. The 2025 edition, its nineteenth, ran November 20 through 29 and has hosted artists including Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall, Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, and Gregory Porter across its history.
The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival launched in 2006 under the high patronage of Prince Albert II, choosing a venue that no other major jazz festival could claim: the Salle Garnier, Monaco's nineteenth-century opera house, designed by the same architect responsible for the Paris Opera.
