Camellia Days in Stoliv

Camellia Days, or Dani Kamelije, takes place in late February or early March in Stoliv, honoring the camellia flower said to have been brought from Japan to Boka Kotorska around 1870 by a local sea captain as a gift for his wife. Organized by the NGO Kamelija Stoliv under the patronage of Kotor Municipality, it features exhibitions, theatre, nature workshops, a themed ball and a Lady of Camellia election.
