Trail Chefchaouen in Chefchaouen
Trail Chefchaouen brings mountain running to the Rif range, staged through Talassemtane National Park around the famed Blue City of Chefchaouen. The three-day event's third edition ran June 12-14, 2026, featuring dense cedar forests, steep slopes and lush valleys. Distances include an 82km race spread over three days, a two-day 44km option, and a shorter 10km open race accessible to a broader range of runners.
Chefchaouen's blue-painted medina draws visitors from around the world, but the mountains rising directly behind the city receive far less attention, despite offering some of northern Morocco's most dramatic terrain.
