MOGA Festival Essaouira in Essaouira
MOGA Festival brings intimate electronic music to Essaouira's Atlantic coastline, founded in 2016 by Matthieu Corosine, Abdeslam Alaoui, and Benoit Geli around a fusion of coastal atmosphere and digital arts. The 2026 edition runs September 30 through October 4, connecting international electronic acts like Polo and Pan, Kenny Dope, and Blond:ish with Moroccan Gnawa malems in a program spanning techno, house, and related sounds.
Essaouira has been a magnet for musicians long before MOGA existed, its fortified walls and Atlantic winds having drawn Gnawa masters, rock pilgrims, and wandering artists for generations.
