Marrakech Folklore Days in Marrakech
Marrakech Folklore Days transforms the city into a stage for global folk dance and music, with international troupes parading through the streets and performing in Jemaa el-Fna square. Considered one of the leading cultural festivals on the African continent, it brings together hundreds of artists from all five continents. The 2026 edition runs October 22 to 25, themed around peace, unity and living heritage.
Marrakech Folklore Days grew out of a simple conviction: that folk dance and music, performed in the street rather than behind a proscenium, can say something about a place that a formal concert hall cannot.
