Marrakech International Marathon in Marrakech

The Marrakech International Marathon has run every January since 1987, drawing thousands of international runners to Morocco's mild winter climate. Known for one of the fastest courses in distance running, the flat route winds through the city and its surrounding palm grove with only gentle uphill stretches. The 2027 edition, its 37th, is scheduled for January 31 and expects more than 12,000 participants across the marathon and half marathon distances.
