Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen

Eurosonic Noorderslag, known as ESNS, is a four-day music showcase festival and conference held each January in Groningen. The first three nights, Eurosonic, present emerging European artists across more than 40 city-center venues, while the closing night, Noorderslag, has served as a barometer for new Dutch pop music since 1986.

Every January, as much of the Netherlands hunkers down for the coldest stretch of winter, the northern city of Groningen becomes the unlikely epicenter of European live music for four nights running.
