Rotterdam Marathon in Rotterdam
The NN Marathon Rotterdam is an annual road race established in 1981, held every April since its third edition and known for its flat, fast course starting at the Erasmus Bridge and finishing on the Coolsingel. The race has produced three marathon world records over its history and remains one of the fastest courses on the international marathon circuit.
Rotterdam is a city defined by its port, the largest in Europe, and by the flat, reclaimed land of the Dutch Randstad on which it sits, geography that has made it an unusually fast setting for distance running.
