Gwandu Durbar Festival is the royal equestrian display associated with the Gwandu Emirate, one of Kebbi State's four emirates and historically one of the two great political centers of the Sokoto Caliphate alongside Sokoto itself. Following the general northern Nigerian Durbar pattern, mounted title holders in traditional regalia parade in honor of the Emir of Gwandu around Sallah celebrations.
