Ojude Oba Ibadan in Ibadan

Ojude Oba, meaning the king's forecourt, is an ancient festival of the Yoruba people of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State, held on the third day after Eid al-Kabir to pay homage to the Awujale, the traditional ruler of Ijebuland. It is one of the most spiritually significant and visually spectacular festivals celebrated anywhere in Yorubaland.

Ijebu-Ode, a major town in Ogun State and historic capital of the Ijebu Kingdom, hosts one of the most celebrated festivals in all of Yorubaland each year on the third day following Eid al-Kabir, known locally as Ileya.
