Ilinden Days Festival of Folk Songs and Dances in Bitola
The Ilinden Days International Festival of Folk Songs and Dances in Bitola was established in 1971 and is held annually in late July and early August. It is the only festival in North Macedonia with official CIOFF membership and certification. Over more than 55 years it has hosted more than 1,000 folklore groups and 50,000 performers from 42 countries across festival nights, concerts, parades and street performances.
The Ilinden Days International Festival of Folk Songs and Dances in Bitola has run since 1971, making it one of the longest-established folklore festivals in North Macedonia.
